Car Insurance for Teens

Teen Car Insurance
As a new driver, expect your car insurance rates to be very high; even more if you plan to be insured under a sports car. The best strategy is to be insured under the oldest family car and just make sure you are also covered for driving any other cars in the family. Then have your parents be listed under the sports car or newer car. You will still be covered driving the newer car (as long as you confirm this with your car insurance agent).

Get Good Grades
Most car insurance companies will offer you a student good grades discount if you are able to show them that you got a 3.0 GPA or higher. This can save you up to 25% on your car insurance rate as a teenager.
